Proving that he has both beauty and brains, X Factor hopeful Ethan Boroian got the show bosses out of a sticky hole last month by using his sharp linguistic skills.

Whilst trying to enter Morocco for the judges houses stage of the show, Ethan and the X Factor team were stopped by border police. As the police questioned them about their visit, Ethan was able to reply in French, Morocco’s second language.

A source told The Sun: “The boys and the presenters got to the first border control point. They stood out because of all the filming equipment and were stopped straight away.

“The police didn’t speak English but Ethan could understand so he explained why they were there.

“He acted as a middle man between the authorities and the crew and once they had the right paperwork they were allowed in.”
