Even Dermot O’Leary Isn’t Supporting The X Factor Winner

Celebrity Hijack - Dermot O’LearyWouldn’t you think that all X Factor staff would be under contract to publicly support the TV show, and all who came from it?

Well obviously not, as X factor presenter Dermot O’Leary stated on his Radio Two show today that he preferred Christmas song, ‘Don’t Shoot Me Santa’ to Leon Jackson’s ‘When You Believe’.

    Good on him for being honest! I like the original version of When You Believe but it’s weird hearing it being sung by a guy.

    The reason people are not happy with Leon winning is not Welsh people whining because their own did not win - I am Welsh and the other Welsh contestant Andy I think was useless and could not sing, and that is the crux of the argument.

    Leon could not sing,he was constantly out of tune and that is why people are unhappy, not just Welsh people read the national press and the tv reviewers opinions they ALL say the same thing.

    Even though Dermot was a presenter on the show he was being asked for his personel opinion which is what he gave. At the time he was not representing the show so I cannot see he did anything wrong, also just because you work there does not mean you have to think that the singers are talented.

    The Scots are not known for winning anything,so wether Leon could sing in tune or not was irrelevent to them,they were not going to lose this one, I bet most of scotlands benefit payments went on the vote
