Fearne Cotton has been speaking about her joy at being offered the job as host of the X factor spin off show, Xtra Factor.

“It’s amazing fun. I love the auditions but I can’t wait to get into the studio,” Fearne told Hot Stars magazine.

“I love the judges. I adore Sharon Osbourne and love hanging out with her. Louis Walsh coming back was a brilliant surprise. I missed him - not that I worked with him before - but he’s such a giggle. I really admire Simon Cowell. There’s this weird perception he’s mean but he’s just honest. And I’ve interviewed Dannii Minogue quite a few times. She’s very sweet, and loving being on the show.”
