We revealed earlier today that Paula Abdul would be joining Simon Cowell’s new American X Factor series as the fourth judge and now we have photo evidence!

The pair have literally just arrived at the Los Angeles auditions for the new Fox talent show and it feels strangely comforting to see them together once more.

Of course the duo worked together for eight years on American idol and Simon has always made clear that he has a soft spot for the former choreographer and pop star.

The fans seem happy with Simon’s choice too. Commenting on the above pciture, on the show’s official Facebook page, one wrote:

Love Paula. Good decision Simon. Cant wait to see you guys. Good luck.

Another added:

I am happy now too, bring it on, it is going to be a great show!!!!!!!!!!
