Girls Aloud Reunion: Cheryl Cole builds bridges and has Nadine Coyle round for dinner!

Cheryl Cole has been quietly building bridges with her old bandmate Nadine Coyle, it has been reported.

The former X Factor judge has agreed to join her old girl group ‘Girls Aloud’ for a reunion tour – which is expected to go ahead in 2013 – and insiders say that after a long running cool period between the pair, Cole ironed out her differences with the Northern Irish singer behind closed doors last week.

The pair were spotted partying together in London, following Chez’s performance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball last Saturday, but insiders say that the evening before, Cole had Coyle round to her London home for dinner, so they could sort their issues in private.

“Cheryl likes socialising in her own house, it’s more private and she knew it would be a good place for her and Nadine to talk things through in their own space,” a friend of Nadine told heat. “Cheryl told Nadine she didn’t want there to be any more animosity between them, and that it was coming between the Girls Aloud reunion.

“The girls know they’re very different people, and they’ll never be best friends. But they’ll put on a united front, and both Cheryl and Nadine are happy that they’ve had the chat.”

Earlier this year, it was confirmed by Nadine that Girls Aloud would reform for a tour, due to begin in early 2013. She said:

“I know everyone’s been speculating about what we will do. It will be arena dates at the start of next year and we will have new music to go with it. One or two singles I would think. It depends on how well it goes with the tour announcement. If things work well, there’s enough demand and we’re all in the same head space as a band then who knows what could happen. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the girls. It’s been a long time since we’ve all been in the same room together.”

Then in early May 2012 Cheryl announced the group would reunite for their tenth anniversay in November 2012 and Coyle and Xenomania confirmed via twitter that they are doing studio sessions for new Girls Aloud songs.
