American boyband One Direction may have insisted this week, that they intend to press on with their legal action against Simon Cowell and the X Factor group with the same name, but the 1D British boys aren’t worried at all.

Harry Styles and Zayn Malik have both insisted that despite the looming court case – in which their rivals are suing SYCO for $1 million in damages – they will not be changing their name….not now, not ever. Phew!

In an interview with Australia newspaper The Herald Sun, the handsome pair were asked about the issue that has been plaguing them for months.

They seems unconcerned, though more serious than usual and both singers confirmed that their fans – and manufacturers of all their merchandise – can relax, as they are staying One Direction…definitely.

Zayn said:

“No. We will not be changing our name!”

In the clip below you can see the boys discussing girls, romance and Styles was asked about the supposed advances he made towards American songstress Taylor Swift.

He admitted that he has been texting the blonde beauty and added:

“We met in America and she’s very nice.”
