Has Lucy Spraggan quit the X Factor? She tells fans to ‘expect the unexpected’
The internet was going mad yesterday afternoon, with reports that Lucy Spraggan had quite the X Factor.
It was reported that the talented singer songwriter had pulled out of the ITV show, after a tough week in which she had to travel home to attend her grandmother’s funeral.
Lucy took to Twitter yesterday to set her fans straight and told her followers:
“I haven’t quit the X factor, just to quash that rumour! #xfactor”
So don’t worry, Lucy will be taking to the stage this evening, as planned.
We don’t yet know what Spraggan will be performing, other than it will be a song that fits with the love and heartbreak theme.
She teased her song choice this morning though, tweeting:
“Expect the unexpected tomorrow, I can’t wait.”
We would expect her to be singing a song of her own once again, so we think – and this is pure speculation – that Lucy will be performing a cover tonight. We just hope it isn’t a Whitney Houston song, as that didn’t go too well at bootcamp.

People keep telling me this Lucy can’t sing & that she’s a one trick pony, well I hope from tonight onwards she slowly starts to prove all their opinions wrong!

Cant sing and her own “act” is to talk her verses in a comedic way. Not right for X-factor as is totally boring! So she can play the guitar,like a thousand others.
