After crap singer followed rubbish singer on Saturday night’s X Factor show, it would have been nice to see a little more of Heshima Thompson’s audition.

The former backing singer for Amy Winehouse wowed the judges with his version of ‘Breakeven’ by The Script. He seemed like a bit of a cheeky chappy too, telling Louis Walsh:

“The girls have been dominating and now I think it’s time for the boys to take over.”

“I think you’ve got a good point,” said Simon.

After his song, Louis’s verdict was: “We think you have more potential than you even think you have. I have to say yes.”

Exit stage left and on with another crap singer, or maybe even a dog!

Sources suggest that Heshima is one to watch during later stages of the show, so as the Fame song says…..remember his name! He is no stranger to TV either, having previously appeared in Spooks: Code 9, The Bill, Prime Suspect: The Final Act, Ahead Of The Class, Babyfather, Holby City, Casualty and Judge John Deed.
