Louis Walsh has responded to claims that he has turned from Mr nice to Mr Nasty by saying that he is just being honest!

If you saw last week’s X or Xtra Factor you’ll have seen Sharon Osbourne attacking Louis and drenching him with a glass of coke, as he hurled abuse at contestant after contestant. Sharon accused him of switching places with Simon Cowell the shows usual Mr Nasty.

But Louis says he is just more honest and confident this year. But the Westlife manager told the Sun: “I’m not trying to be the new Mr Nasty. I’m just being honest.”

“I was the boring one last year,” he said. “I had no confidence because I was stuck between Sharon and Simon who both had lots of telly experience and I didn’t.”
