Is Alexandra Burke A Diva?
Some of the X Factor LOSERS are said to have been complaining about the behaviour of show winner Alexandra Burke.
A number of the runners up are said to be accusing Alex of behaving differently with them since the show ended.
“Some of the finalists, including Diana Vickers and a couple of the lads from JLS, feel that Alex has distanced herself slightly from the rest of the crowd,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“There has been a bit of bitching between the others, which has only been exacerbated by the upcoming tour, where Alex will have her own backstage area.”
Alex’s spokesperson denied the claims, saying that Burke’s treatment was normal for the winning contestant.
“This is what happens every year. Obviously the winner gets a better deal – that’s the whole point of winning the show,” the rep said.
“But this is just the way it works, it is in no way her being a diva or anything like that. If JLS have a problem with it, or want their own dressing room, then they should speak to their record label about it.”

Sounds a bit like jealousy to me. Lets be honest X-Factor are not going to be ruled by Alex she would have what the programme provided. Sounds more like the media wanting to cause friction.
It could be that the media want to cause friction. However, I think it is more likely to be that Alex needs time to herself more because she is not a diva. She is not a fully fledged entertainer after having only completed 10 X factor heats over ten weeks. This is not ten years of training or ten years working on a regional circuit to become entertainer. Instead this is the music industry at its worst. Creating a fales image of someone with a great big wall of sound to camoflage the true sound of Alexander and indeed any other winner of the X factor. It is all mechanically produced. Alex turned down the chance to work with Lionel Richie because she knows that she is not the diva the programme made her out to be. This is despite her being a good singer. But being a good singer does not make her a time served diva to music.

I think someone said something to the media about this and papperazzi are making the issue bigger. Either this or fame has gone to young Alex’s head
Never liked her. She always seemed really cocky and arogant. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if this was true. JLS should have won anyway!
