John and Edward Grimes have revealed that they will be releasing their own fashion line later this year.

The X Factor stars say the range will be called ‘Pop Icons’ and will be inspired by style icons Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury.

Edward told The Sun:

“Fashion is our big passion and our collection will look hot on the catwalk.

“We love the jackets worn by Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury and think everybody will love to wear stuff like that.

“Our clothes will have lots of bold colours and cool patterns.”

The 18 year old twins may even get to model the line themsleves.

Edward added: “We’re signed to Next Models so we have experience. We know how to pose and walk, plus we’ve worked with some big-name photographers.”

Louis Walsh is said to be keen to get the clothes to the High Street as soon as possible. He is reportedly worried that Jedward’s appeal is already wearing off, after all their new album only reached No17 in the charts last month.

A source said: “The boys’ 15 minutes of fame are almost up so Louis will try and bring the clothes out quickly.

“The new series of the X Factor starts later this month – which is bound to produce another novelty act.

“Jedward will just be another forgotten reality TV reject.”
