John and Edward Grimes have reached the number two spot in the UK midweek charts with their debut single ‘Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby’.

The Irish twins, who shot to fame on last year’s X Factor series, have sold over 24,000 copies of their single in two days and are just 24 copies behind Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’.

Bearing in mind that the physical cd copy of the track has not yet been released, we think the boys are sure to hit the number one spot this month. Poor old Joe McElderry won’t be too chuffed with that.
