Eoghan Quigg - X Factor 2008

Despite failing to land a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco label after this years X Factor, JLS and Eoghan Quigg have managed to get a contract elsewhere.

Northern Irish teenager Eoghan has signed with the RCA label, while boyband JLS have been snapped up by Epic Records.

An RCA spokesman told The Sun: “I can confirm we have signed Eoghan Quigg. He is a huge talent and everyone is very excited to be working with him.”

A spokesman for Cowell said: “This year, although many of the finalists were strong, Syco have decided only to sign Alexandra Burke. She’ll have the full focus of the Syco label.”
