We were lucky enough to be invited by the team at Nokia, to yesterday’s surprise JLS concert. Taking place in the renowned Hammersmith Apollo in London, thousands of lucky competition winners and Nokia customers turned up to see the boys live and we are beginning to doubt that our eardrums will ever be the same again.

Forget Take That, forget NKOTB, the hysterical fans that follow those gorgeous JLS boys around are crazed like nothing we’ve ever seen before.

After doing our own bit of star spotting before the main event (we were sitting two rows in front of Anthony Worrell-Thompson, two rows behind Katie Price and also spotted Ian Wright and and Lemar mingling with the crowd), we were treated to polished renditions of ‘Umbrella’, ‘Beat Again’ and ‘Everybody in Love’ to name a few.

There was lots of t-shirt pulling from the boys, lots of sexy dance moves and no less than four costume changes . We loved the suave white suits and red roses look (watch the video below), but have to admit that our favourite outfit was worn by the ridiculously good looking Marvin. That boy can fill a pair of leather trousers!

After watching the Aston, Marvin, Ortise and JB perform as charismatically as they did and witnessing first hand the level of commitment from their thousands of fans, we are not a bit surprised that American record labels are clambering to sign the former X Factor contestants. We just hope that they don’t forget about the little old UK, when they break worldwide.
