JLS have made a list of 300 career goals
Those JLS boys are definitely ambitious. After enjoying a ridiculously successful 2009, Marvin Humes has revealed that the band have a list of 300 goals they hope to achieve during the rest of their music career.
“Last year was absolutely mental,” he told The Daily Record. “We’ve had the most amazing year and the most amazing success, with a number one single and album, getting two MOBO awards and the gigs that we have played. It’s been one success after another. We want to maintain that going into 2010 and have as equally good a year, if not better.”
He continued: “We have made this list of like 300 goals. When we started The X Factor we said to ourselves, what if we had the chance to have any sort of experience or win anything, if the world was our oyster, nothing had a price, you had a catalogue and you could pick stuff out, whatever you wanted, what would you pick?
“We picked loads of things from having a number one album and single to performing on stage with the likes of Westlife, meeting people like Mariah Carey and Boys II Men, and collaborating with people like Taio Cruz. We’ve managed to do all those things but there’s loads of things we haven’t achieved yet. We look at the list all the time and there is so much more we want to achieve.”
“We are always thinking about what is next,” he explained. “We are planning to release at least one more single off this album but as soon as possible we are going to get back in the studio and start on new material.
“We need to keep the momentum going. We would also love to be associated with other artists and events. There is so much we want to do, but one thing at a time.”
