JLS to release ‘Everybody In Love’ as first American single

We reported last month that the JLS boys were close to signing their first American record deal and now they have announced that they will release ‘Everybody In Love’ as their first US single.

The band will release an amended version of the track, which topped the UK charts in November. The new one will include a shout-out to producer JR Rotem at the start.

“We’re going to put out ‘Everybody In Love’ as the first one in the US. It starts off with JR giving a shout out to himself,” Marvin Humes told the Daily Star.

“Initially we asked for it to be changed to JLS instead of JR, but we lost that battle.

“Now we are so glad we kept it as he’s had such huge success, with Jason Derulo and Iyaz both going to No.1 with tracks he’s produced.”

“We’re not making a big deal about cracking America – it’s still all about the UK. We’ll see how things go,” he said.
