If Simon Cowell is on the hunt for a new X Factor judge, then the boys of JLS think they have just the man….Oritsé Williams.

The singer and former X Factor star was the man behind JLS and decided to put his own boyband together back in 2004. When he joined forces with Aston Merrygold, Jonathan Benjamin “JB” Gill and Marvin Humes they later entered the ITV show, finished in second place and the rest is musical history.

After all this experience, bandmate JB thinks his pal has all the right experience to join the X Factor judging panel and told Metro that Simon should be giving him a call.

He commented:

‘I think they should make Oritsé an X Factor judge

‘Absolutely, because Oritsé’s a founding member of JLS.’

‘He knows what it takes to put together a group and to find the right components and he’s just really, really enthusiastic. He’d be fantastic.’

However, Simon may be more keen to find a female rather than male judge for the panel this year, as reports suggest he is considering replacing Kelly Rowland. Insiders say the music mogul was unhappy with her commitment to the show last year and that she isn’t convinced she even wants to return, as she got so homesick.

It has been claimed that Cowell is in the process of wooing Cheryl Cole, trying to win her back, but her manager Will.i.am is standing in his way.

The Black Eyed Peas star insisted that Cole will NOT be back on the show and in fact, in a bod to irritate the music mogul, he is hoping to have her perform on rival BBC show The Voice instead.
