John and Edward Grimes think Rage Against The Machine competition is ‘cool’

Former X Factor contestants John and Edward Grimes, have thrown their weight behind Rage Against The Machine’s battle for Christmas number one.

The band have been backed by a huge Facebook campaign in a bid to help push their single ‘Killing In The Name Of’ to the number one spot, therefore beating Joe McElderry’s ‘The Climb.’

Jedward have admitted that they think the chart battle is ‘cool’ and that ‘competition is a good thing.’

“Every X Factor winner knows they will be No 1, but we think the competition is a good thing,” the pair told the Sunday Mercury.

“It is cool that someone else hasn’t just sat back and let it happen.

“We think it is cool there is competition.”
