X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes have been reportedly nominated for a comedy award. The funny part of the story (funny, comedy…you get it?) is that the boys will be up against Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh in the Loaded Laftas awards ceremony next January.

A spokesman for the awards told The Daily Star: “It’s the clash the country wants to see.

“For the first time ever, X Factor judges will go head to head with X Factor contestants.

“At long last here’s the chance for the Terrible Twins to get one over on Simon and to really rub his nose in it by taking home this award.”
