Jonathan Ansell Thinks X Factor Is ‘Cringeworthy’
Jonathan Anstell, former X Factor finalist and member of opera group G4 has described the new series of X Factor as ‘cringeworthy’ and too sentimental.
MSN quote Jon as saying:
“Simon’s gone all out to Americanise it with the helicopters, the cars, and glamming it up. I think that worked incredibly well but I got incredibly frustrated with the sob stories as the show went on.”
“You need to give people the benefit of the doubt from their performance and then later on in the show maybe show what’s happened in their life. But to do it so early on I found a bit cringeworthy and frustrating. Overall I found the show entertaining but it was just that element that bugged me,” he continued.

it’s sad to see someone that owes his career to a show attack it. He ought to remember the saying, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds”
Unfortunately this aspect of talent shows bugs all of us. The viewer just wants to see a great choice of talent and of course the obligatory jokers.

How can he critise a show that made him famous. Trouble is he is too big for his boots, he always thought that G4 was all about him, I do not like him and this makes him a hypocrite and ungrateful. If it was not for X-Factor he would still be busking.
