Judges Speech At X Factor 2007 Open Auditions

Just thought that anyone who didn’t make it down to the X factor open auditions in London this year, might want to take a look at this clip below.

You’ll see the four judges (including Brian Friedman, not Louis Walsh) emerge to a chorus of boos, but they do make quite good speeches….it is almost as if I was there!

OMG! I’m very happy you’ve put up this video. I was there! It was the biggest scam ever! If you’re thinking of going to one, DO NOT GO TO THE X FACTOR OPEN AUDITIONS!!

We arrived at 7am and were used as “unpaid extras” in the seering heat. they just made us wave and do “silent cheering” for their opening credits. In the end, no one was auditioned by the judges! They got some x factor staff to audition everyone in the stadium. 1 in 50 got through! It was a scam! People would cheer for people who were really good and most wouldn’t even go through!

DO NOT GO TO X FACTOR “OPEN AUDIIONS” they are a scam!

I had two GCSE exams on the monday too. so i screwed up my revision for nothing!

Everyone was really annoyed and that’s why the judges were booed. There were thousands of people there, all really pissed off. Too right!

The auditions are a scam .My grandaughter auditioned in Cardiff and was there 4 hours she did not see anyone get thorugh although there were thousands auditioning. They were used as extras to “do silent cheering”Before they get to the Panel of Simon etc they have been through 3 auditionswith X factor staff. Watching the show on Tv one assumes that the panel see all the applicants. I believe they put a handful of good singers through and put the rest forward as pure entertainment. Many of them in front of the panel are terrible and make fools of themselves. On last nights show a girl was rejected and her father went in to see the judges Simon said to him he should not encourage her as her voice was awful(or words to that effect) I think that by getting through the 3 previous auditons THE PANEL have encouraged them and built up their hopes. Dont blame the parents Simon they are being exploited and encouraged by your staff.Talent shows should be a genuine display of talent not a contrived farce

sounds to me like, if you want to audition for real in front of the judges, pretend like ur craaaap and make an ass of urself for the first few behind-the-scenes-auditions, so u have a better chance of gettin thru to the judges, but for pure entertainment value for the show.
    and then sing for real!

hey… i auditioned for x factor 2008 y’day in Birmingham and 19,000 people turned up! we all got auditioned, but only by x factor researches and tht… 700 ppl got through ( me being one of them ) out of the 19,000 to go back today for another audition… I ddin’t get through todays audition and i was guttered! But people think everyone who auditions see’s the actual panel straight off but that’s not at all true… there’s 5 puliminary rounds, in front of x factor producers and reaseraches etc before u get to see the actual judges… only 80 out of the 700 today get through to the next round then only 15 get to see the actual judges!! It’s a complete waist of time to be honest… i find it amazing tht someone acutally wins this competition tho!

I want to audition for the x-factor this year, and it’s been said that the open auditions are this weekend..I’m thinking of going, but is everyone suggesting that it is a complete waste of time? Would i be better off sending in an application next year and actually getting an audition instead of queuing for hours and not getting an audition? Help! x
