Katie Price and Peter Andre may both be attending this week’s X factor final and Simon Cowell has insisted that the pair are kept apart.

Simon invited Katie personally to come and watch the show whilst Peter has been lined up as a guest on ITV2′s Xtra Factor.

“The powers that be want Katie and Peter to feel relaxed and happy about coming to the show and have assured them that it will be handled in a professional manner and they won’t even have to see each other,” a source told The Mirror.

“There is a very detailed plan in place to make sure it all runs smoothly.”
