Katy Perry & Dannii Minogue favourites to take Kelly Rowland’s X Factor 2012 seat
Bookies William Hill have slashed the price of Katy Perry joining the X Factor judging panel today from an original 5/1 all the way into 1/1. As a result she is now the favourite ahead of Dannii Minogue who is 7/4.
The American star is believed to be keen to join the ITV show, having enjoyed her guest judging stint on the 2010 series.
It has been rumoured that former judge Dannii is also in talks about making a comeback, however bookmakers think that Katy is a more likely option, especially considering Minogue’s recent comments about being reticent to disrupt her baby son Ethan’s Australian routine.
“Dannii Minogue has been a long term favourite to return to the X Factor but certainly the money suggests that she will be pipped by Perry,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

If Dannii isn’t on the show this year and doesn’t want to come back, then yes, I would be happy with Katy Perry. I would be happy with either Dannii or Katy and would watch. If either of these do it this year, I think X Factor 2012 will be a must to watch.
However, I would not be happy with Alesha Dixon, or Sharon Osbourne, so I would not watch if either of these two were on The X Factor 2012. If one of these join, then I think X Factor 2012 would be a miss in my opinion.
