Kylie Minogue will sing on Simon Cowell’s Haiti single

Kylie Minogue has signed up to sing on Simon Cowell’s planned charity single, the proceeds of which will be donated to the victims of the recent Haiti earthquake.

Joe McElderry, JLS and Leona Lewis have already recorded their contributions to the track and Kylie is expected to put her vocals down very soon.

A source told The Mirror: “Simon’s delighted.

“Kylie’s shown a real depth of understanding of what the single is all about. She’s one of the biggest stars to say yes so far. It’s a real coup.”

Cheryl Cole, Mika, Take That, Mariah Carey, Susan Boyle, Alexandra Burke and James Blunt will also feature on the new version of REM’s ‘Everybody Hurts.’
