Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has revealed that she would love to land a judging role on ITV’s X Factor.

The 33-year-old Coronation Street star, first found fame when she won reality TV show Popstars in 2001. She went on to join the band Hear’say, but left months before they split.

“In the future, I’d like to be the new judge on The X Factor,” Marsh told Now magazine.

“Mind you, I don’t think I’d want to sit down next to Cheryl Cole every day – it would make me cry! I would be getting more surgery then and I’d want to look 22.

“She’s so gorgeous, I actually think she’s the most beautiful woman in the world.”
