23 year old Lauren Stanley has claimed that she was sent home X Factor bootcamp, because she was heavily pregnant.

Lauren Stanley and her pal Verity Morley formed duo Black And Gold and made it through the first round auditions, however, Simon Cowell reportedly told her at boot camp: “Go home and have the baby.”

Stanley said: “We were on stage after we performed and he told me he thought I was being irresponsible.

“He asked how I would cope with the rest of the show but I just snapped and said, ‘If I didn’t think I could do it I wouldn’t be here’.”

Cowell denied that he axed the group because of the impending delivery. Lauren has since given birth to her son Jack and intends to re-audition next year.
