Perrie Edwards has admitted that she feels pretty confident about her body.

The Little Mix star has been dating Zayn Malik since April and gets a lot of attention each and every time she steps out in public. People pass comment on every outfit, every accessory and ever look she trials but despite the constant glare of the camera, the blonde beauty says she tries to avoid obsessing about her figure.

Perrie told Look magazine:

I think this industry’s much harder on girls but I’m quite confident about my body.

She added:

‘I’m not self-conscious or obsessive. If I feel bloated I just eat more healthily and I’d never go on a crash diet.’

‘I know I should exercise but I look at a treadmill and think: “boring.’

Edwards has often been painted as a bit holier than thou and a bit of a quirky wallflower but she insists that while she and her Little Mix bandmates may not swear on stage like their former X Factor mentor Tulisa, they are far from being ‘angels.’

She told the publication:

‘We wouldn’t want to swear in front of fans but we’re not little angels.

We’re about having fun and hopefully inspiring people to think that if they want something badly enough, it can happen. We need a bit of girl power and we’re bringing it.’

Perrie also revealed that she has never been happier than she is now with her 1D boyfriend and admitted that he has been a big hit with her family.
