Rebecca Ferguson was performing on Loose Women today to promote her brand new song, but she made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
The X Factor star was coming to the end of a performance of All That I’ve Got on the ITV daytime show, when she fell to her knees and collapsed in front of the studio audience and the millions of people watching at home.
Myleene Klass was first out of her seat to help the stunning singer and the mum of two rushed to the stage, put Becs in the recovery position and stayed with her until medics showed up in the television studio.
Klass was talking to Ferguson throughout her treatment and it’s been reported that the star is feeling much better now.
Jonathan Shalit, Rebecca’s manager told MailOnline:
‘Rebecca complained of being dizzy throughout the show but insisted on performing.
‘Rebecca is with ITV’s nursing – has come around and is resting now.’
Ferguson took to her Twitter page a few minutes ago and thanked fans for all their well wishes and messages of concern.
She tweeted her followers saying:
“I am feeling much better will rest today so sorry to worry everybody I fought through that song but at the end had nothing left love yas xxx”
A fan replied to Becs saying:
“@RebeccaFMusic please get lots of rest. Your health comes before anything. You had us all worried. Hope you’re feelin ok now ❤️❤️ xx”
Other messages included:
“@RebeccaFMusic Woah, that was scary to see. Glad you’re feeling better!”
“@RebeccaFMusic hope it’s nothing serious, lots of love!<3”
Rebecca had complained earlier in the eek of feeling ill and being laid up with a bug, it seems that she didn’t get enough rest or recuperation to shift the illness.
Earlier this week the star gave an interview to Metro and admitted that she is in a much happier place these days, than when she suffered with depression following her time on The X Factor.
Get well soon Rebecca! Leave your comments below….
