Reports are emerging in the Daily Mail newspaper, that sacked judge Louis Walsh, is returning to the X Factor.

A show insider is said to have told the newspaper that during the London X Factor auditions, it became clear to Simon Cowell that Brian Friedman was not working out as a judge on the show and so he decided to crawl back to Louis and ask him to return.

“An insider on the programme said they tried it and it didn’t work. It was when they were together and talking about it they admitted that it just didn’t work together.”

“Friedman told Simon he wasn’t comfortable as a judge. He didn’t understand slang and didn’t have a good enough knowledge of pop music.

“Simon didn’t think he would work, the chemistry wasn’t there. After ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Simon was more aware that he had to get this right.

“Simon was uncomfortable and they agreed that Friedman would take on a different role on the show developing the acts.

“Louis will replace him with immediate effect. Simon feels that Louis was the only person with the relevant experience.”
