Louis Walsh has canceled two planned gigs for X Factor’s John and Edward Grimes.

The boys former management company, Modest Management, had the boys lined up to sing at various clubs around the UK. However Louis Walsh signed the boys this week and has taken the decision to scrap planned appearances. He is reportedly keen for the boys to have some down time and wants them to attend The Jingle Bell Ball this week.

Louis told BBC news that he was “delighted” to be working with the brothers again.

He said: “Despite all the doubters, John & Edward proved themselves on The X Factor and I’ve always been convinced that they have a great career ahead of them.

“I’m delighted that I’ll be able to continue to work with the pair.”

He added: “We’re looking into music as well as TV deals but at this stage it is too early to give any exact details.”
