Louis Walsh has hit out at critics who suggest that he and Sharon have formed a secret alliance in order to keep their acts in the X factor finals and vote Simon’s acts out.

“There’s no secret alliance,� Louis told us

“We’re going to win because we’ve got better acts than Simon. That’s really all it is.

“I am very very passionate about my four acts. So of course I did everything I could to twist Sharon’s arm and keep Chenai in this week.

“That’s because I care. Does Simon care?

“I think it’s outrageous and very unprofessional that Simon doesn’t even know the names of his acts.

“The only name Simon knows is his own. Welcome to the world of Simon Cowell – population one.�

Louis may mock Simon for his lack of professionalism, but lets be honest, Louis’ song choices for his acts so far have been less than professional. You would be forgiven for thinking he didn’t want them to win.

It would seem that his time would be better spent choosing more appropriate material for his four acts and trying to keep them out of the bottom two acts next week rather than courting the media with remonstrations about Simon Cowell.
