After weeks of Simon Cowell being blamed on artificially forming X Factor groups out of solo contestants, it will emerge on tonights X Factor bootcamp show that Irish twerp Louis Walsh was actually behind the move.

Tonight we will see Louis saying:

“I think we’ve thrown away the seven or eight girls and boys that are very very good and I think we should give them a lifeline. I think we should give them a chance of putting a group together.

Simon is dismissive saying, “it won’t work. It’s impossible.” “You’re not physic,” challenges Louis. “If we give them a small chance it might work. If I was them I would love this opportunity.” But Simon is still not convinced. “It won’t work – I’m putting it on record now, it will not work. I want to see every ‘maybe’ I’m not putting any no’s in.”

As the rejected contestants leave, the judges have kept behind the ones they believe still have potential. Simon tells the stunned contestants “I’m not saying this is good news cos I don’t think it is.” A jubilant Louis cuts in. “I think there’s some talent in this room and you should think about putting a group or groups together and auditioning tomorrow with the other groups. You’ve only got 24 hours to do it but if you really care, if you really want it, you can do it. Don’t let me down! It’s my idea to prove Simon wrong.”

Simon is full of doom and gloom, telling the cameras, “this experiment will fall flat in his face. It will go completely wrong, Louis rabbits on that we can’t lose talent but all that’s going to happen is he’s going to prolong the pain. Well of course I’ll have to pick up the pieces when it all goes wrong and say guess what, fairytales don’t come true.” Will Simon or Louis be proved right?
