Louis Walsh has said that he is very honest when he is judging on X Factor and doesn’t try to please th public in his words or actions.

In an interview with Love It magazine, he explained: “When I’m judging, I’m not afraid to speak my mind even if hurts the contestants’ feelings.

“I’m a very honest person and if I don’t like someone then I’ll tell them. I don’t act at all or pretend to be anything else, I’m just me and I like to keep it real because that’s exactly what I do with my own acts.

“I fully understand that people either like me or they don’t, but I don’t care – you can’t be liked by everybody and I’d hate people to think I was phoney. I hate people who just say what they think the public wants to hear.”
