Louis Walsh has surprised himself by becoming a huge fan of his X Factor colleague Dannii Minogue.

Louis took his pal Sharon Osbourne’s side when she feuded with Dannii during her first year on The X Factor, however since Shazza left the show, he has found himself getting closer to the Australian fashion icon.

Speaking about whether Dannii could relaunch her music career, Louis told Celebs on Sunday:

“I think if she had the right song and the right producer, she would have a number one record. And she’s looking better than she’s ever looked. I’m so pro Dannii now, I can’t believe it. Who would have thought that would happen?”

On why he refused to support Dannii when she first joined the X Factor in 2007 Louis said:

“I’m a big friend of Sharon Osbourne’s, I love her, so I was always very much in her camp. But last year Dannii came in and she was really friendly and worked so hard. She’s a great judge and very dedicated, she so deserves her place on the panel.”
