Marcus Collins says Gary Barlow ‘definitely’ wants to return for X Factor 2012!
Marcus Collins has reportedly confirmed that his former X Factor mentor Gary Barlow is ‘definitely’ up for returning to the ITV show later this year.
The Liverpudlian singer was promoting his new single and album in an interview with The Daily Mail, when he revealed that the Take That star wants to stay on the judging panel of the reality TV show.
However it is reported that Simon Cowell is still unsure about whether or not he will return to the show in some capacity and still not decided about Gary’s fate, while ITV bosses are ‘desperate’ to keep the musician, song writer and singer on board.
A source told the publication:
“Gary wasn’t perfect last year but who else is there? Only Paul McCartney, Elton and Noel Gallagher have more gravitas.”
if he isn’t asked back, Gary won’t be twiddling his fingers for long, as the star is already busy organising the upcoming Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace. he is also working with Marcus on his debut album and planning Take That’s next album and tour.
If Simon does decide against asking Gary back, then perhaps he should consider his options wisely and possibly opt for a less famous but equally experienced star.
