Meet Your 12 X Factor Finalists!
We are almost there! The live shows kick off next week and tonight our 12 X Factor finalists were revealed!
They are as follows:
SIMON’S SINGERS: 16-24
Nikitta Angus
AGE 17: Fulfilled mum’s dying wish to go on show. Simon said: “Your voice is fantastic… your mum would be proud.�
Leona Lewis
AGE 21: Wrote first song at 12 and debut album is out already. Went to prestigious Brit drama school, now works as receptionist.
Raymond Quinn
AGE 18: Awardwinning ex-Brookside actor, broke down as Simon rejected him, then tracked him down and asked him to return and take a place in his final 8 acts.
Ashley McKenzie
AGE 16:student and ex-male model. He told Simon: “Singing is my life… without it, it’s a dead end.�
SHARON’S SINGERS: 25+
Kerry McGregor
AGE 31: Mother to 16 month old Joshua, Kerry broke her back falling from a tree in her teens – singing career is her lifelong ambition.
Dionne Mitchell
AGE 26: Dionne, a Londoner, wowed judges with a soulful take on Aretha Franklin’s You Make Me Feel (Like A Natural Woman).
Ben Mills
AGE 26: Long-haired rocker Ben has a huge ambition to make it as a singer. He currently runs a business renting out marquees.
Robert Allen
AGE 27: Robert is a hospital worker whose pregnant girlfriend is due to give birth in December.
LOUIS’S GROUPS
The Unconventionals: Three boys, three girls… longtime pals Drew, Andrew, Tom, Nicola, Lucy and Liz. Can they score a Hear’Saystyle victory? The group thought they had sang themselves out of a place in the final as Drew forgot his lyrics in their final audition, but Louis loved them anyway.
Eton Road: This quartet are James, Anthony, David and Daniel – pals with an unusual style.
McDonald Brothers: These Glaswegian brothers are Brian and Craig MacDonald. Handsome boys, I’d love to meet their dad!
4Sure: Four boys… Donovan, Andrew, Chris and Jermaine.

The rest I don’t care much for. But I have no doubt that Ray will go pretty far.
What has happened to trevor? i read in my local paper the MEN that he made the final 8? he wasnt on the show last night?

What a pity to lose the Unconventionals so early; but I’m afraid they dug a grave for themselves by not performing to their strengths and wearing such uncool clothes. Why couldn’t they be unconventional and sexy?
Unconventional is great, so is weird, and odd, and freakish. But who’d vote for the Munsters in X-Factor? (Well, that said, they voted for Ray who by popular consensus came right off the Munsters! Hum.)
Simon let Ray down badly with the song he had him do,I hate the theme weeks idea, not the best way to give the acts confidence or bring out the best of them.Sharon was so unfair to MacDonald Bros,boy if she doesnt like you there’s no compromise with her.ETON ROAD were brilliant and Anthony in particular has a great voice.Most weakest for me for song and arrangement was KERRY with that tedious treatment of ‘Sunshine of my life. She sang great in boot camp then Sharon dumps that on her.The themed weeks sadly are goint to mean a lot of lost talent as acs are FORCED to sing songs they wouldn’t touch normally.Still SIMON says so all must jump,who cares what viewers want,its only our money on the phone calls anyway.IF justice is done this year then its a groups turn and ETON ROAD are by far the BEST individual group to appear for a long time.4sure are good too.I could listen to a single of BEN’S but an album would do my head in as his treatments of songs are all the same.Great first show thanks to the acts but TAMLA isnt all that easy to sing or is everyones cup of tea.Good luck to ALL the acts this week, they’ll neeed it being a ROD STEWART theme,EXCEPT Ben who is just a copy of Rod Stewart anyway nearly. I loved the macdonald brouthers they are so good and i wish i could met them. in the final i liked leona best but i thought ray sang the last song better. i dont belive leona is the best contestent you have ever had SHAYNE WARD is.SHAYNE WARD is my favoret singer ever and ever and an only 14 love you all from ruth
