I have been watching the X Factor audition show tonight and I have been so so disappointed by the quality of acts. Even the supposed good ones (read Rozelle and Behrouz) failed to set me alight. But then Miss Fitz performed.

The girls sang Britney Spears ‘Toxic’ in the style of Christina Aguilera’s Candy Man and my God it worked. Here’s hoping that Gemma gets further than judges houses this year.

It was finally nice to see an act who could a) sing, b) perform and c) are marketable. More of this please Mr Cowell.
