National Television Awards 2012: X Factor’s Little Mix look dodgy during performance of ‘Don’t Let Go’ (VIDEO)
Little Mix have given their first live TV performance of the year on tonight’s National Television Awards.
The X Factor winners have been busy recording their debut album and training for the show’s nationwide tour for the last few weeks, however tonight they came out of hibernation and showed Britain exactly why they triumphed on the ITV show last month.
This evening Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall took to the stage in London’s O2 arena to perform in front of the star studded crowd and delivered, what we think may have been their best performance yet of En Vogue’s ‘Don’t Let Go.’
The girls have clearly honed their vocals and harmonies to the song, however we would have liked them to concentrate a little more on their style choices and to our mind, the only one who really looked amazing was blonde beauty Perrie Edwards.
Stylejacking.com thought so too and hated Jesy’s one glove and Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s leopard print dress. You can see some pictures of Little Mix on the red carpet tonight here and watch the video below.

perri looked utterly boring, her outfit was dated, and her hair looked extremely frizzy and unhealthy!
jesy and leigh-anne looked the best BY FAR!!!!!!! individual, stylish, and the only ones that stood out!

I like that they do NOT try to look like a polished current equivalent of Halley Mills when she was 18 to 20, or Debbie Renolds at that age. Their leggings and tops and odd designs that do not precisely go together are part of their charm, and they do NOT look cheap but individual. I almost always like Jesy’s outfits, and have to remember that her size in U.S. sizes is a 6 to 8, as compared to the U.K. 10 to 12. She’s downright slim in U.S. terms, and at her height, which I guess to be around 5′ to 5’2″ I would be surprised if she weighed more than 9 stone or 126 pounds, so those who think she is fat are full of it… She has the curves to wear what she wears. Leigh-Ann also has a nice shape, which Jade and Perrie are least curvy, but still manage to look good. Each has her own basic style she likes and it works if they do their own things. For one thing it encourages younger girls and women to do the same thing and be both comfortable and have choices in what they wear. What a change from the regimented clothing styles of past years, when everyone had to wear a miniskirt or a tank top or whatever was the current fashion. Little Mix has them wearing a number of different concepts in current clothing…. Great for them and the economy!

Their clothes styles I would be happy for my 13 year old to copy, rather than skimpy sexual outfits which leave nothing to the imagination. Well done girls, just be yourselves x

One thing my mum always used to say to me was look elegant
That’s the main advice she gave me when it came to dressing and I think that every girl/woman should apply that to their outfits. Wear something that flatters you without making you slutty or overtly sexual :/
The outfits being chosen for them are not flattering on them, not as much as they could be.
I do hope they stick to their individual styles without letting their stylists take over. They should never have to follow the trend and end up looking slutty, their role models for a reason

To be honest, I’m happier they’ve improved their vocals and harmonies.
The styling whilst dated above, is simple to fix. They read negative reviews, then they don’t go out looking like that again, it’s part of being in the media.
I have heard that x ftcoar reject Gamu is being deported?I have heard that x ftcoar reject Gamu is being deported because her morther is a benefits cheat and she is only in this country as a dependent, so I am thinking well that’s fine at least the border control is getting rid of thief’s, but I have read in the newspaper that groups of people have sprung up demanding that the government takes action to insure that Gamu isn’t ‘forced’ to return to here home country (the best place for her if you ask me), I have also read that it wasn’t her mothers fault that she was given benefits (even although it was written in her student visa, and she was told various time that she wasn’t entitled to any public funds) so what benefits did she claim and why wasn’t it her faultThanks gromit – at last a proper answer
