One Direction’s special guest appearance on iCarly is due to air later this week and we have got our hands on some new promo clips for the episode.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson all got to try their hand at acting as well as singing, when they filmed their cameo on the hit Nickelodeon TV show in February.

The X Factor boyband will play themselves and perform “What Makes You Beautiful” in the episode entitled iGo One Direction, which is due to air on 7 April.

In the clips below, the boys can be seen joking with show stars Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy and the girls – who play Carly and Sam – seemed fairly excited to have the teen sensations on set.

In fact it’s lucky that Zayn Malik is single, because Sam seemed to be pretty sweet on the hunky young star!

At one point during the band’s performance, geeky Gibby even gets in on the act, before being chased off stage by Harry. It’s hardly surprising that he wanted to join the band, as he does describe himself as their ‘biggest fan!’

Liam Payne admitted that 1D had a hoot filming for the show, and said:

“We were a bit nervous when we first came onto set, but we’ve had such a fun day!”
