The One Direction lads have had another busy day!

Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik spent hours in the recording studio, trying to complete work on their second album but as you can see from our pictures they did have time for a little break.

This afternoon Liam and Louis were spotted cycling through central London, on bikes that they had hired for the day.

We would have preferred them to be jaunting on a tandem built for two, however we still love the shot of Louis looking incredibly dapper in his smart jacket and trousers, while Liam looks like he is properly concentrating on not falling off the two wheeled vehicle.

Perhaps he needs some cycling tuition!

Meanwhile, as his two bandmates were lapping up the sun and all the fresh air, Niall Horan was busy sifting through piles and piles of fan mail and it looks like he’s chosen a few of his favourite offerings to take home.

As all this was going on, One Direction’s management revealed on Twitter that they had brought forward the time for tomorrow’s big announcement. They tweeted:

We’re so excited to tell you what our news is that we’ve moved the announcement forward to 1pm UK time! 1DHQ x

It’s thought that the announcement will centre around the release date of the band’s next single, the first from their new album. It is expected to hit the shelves next month and we think management may reveal that the lads will also be performing the track for the first time at the MTV VMAs.
