OFCOM Investigate X Factor Result
Media watchdog, OFCOM have revealed that they will be carrying out an investigation into Saturday’s X Factor result after receiving several hundred complaints.
Many Rhydian fans claimed that they couldn’t get through on phone lines while trying to vote for him, yet people were able to vote for Leon over and over again. I know, my elderly aunt voted for him 27 times!
X Factor fan Sylvia Wardley told The Sun: ‘Between six of us we tried to vote for Rhydian 55 times, but only got through twice. We tried Leon and got through straight away.”
Rhydian’s father Malcolm, 60, said: “Rhyd’s not a bad loser, but he feels the same as us about the result – and we think it’s fix. He believes it’s possible he was stitched up. He’s disappointed for himself and his fans.”

I tried to vote for Rhydian and could not get through. My Scottish friend phoned 6 times for Leon and got through every time!! I Rhyd’s lines were so busy with voters and Leons were not, how did he win?
It all smells a bit fishy to me. Rhydian was robbed!! (p.s. I am not welsh)
We tried after Rhydian sang his first song until voting lines closed and could not get through to vote for Rhydian at all and that was from a BT line not virgin media.24 members of family and friends had the same bother.Between us we got through twice only and that was from a mobile,It’s a fix and I dont care about all the dogooders comments..we proved it and so did hundreds of irrate Rhydian fans on his myspace/appreciation pages.
I telephoned constantly from my land line to vote for leon in one hand and in other hand my 02 mobile never got through at all however my husband who is scottish i’m English mind he got through 8 times on his vodaphone network and voted for leon .
Following numerous failed tries by myself and several family members to place votes for Ryhdian during the live saturday show, I was amazed and very dissappointed at the final result. It was apparent from the look on all the judges faces that they too felt the wrong decision was made, had the telephone lines been better equipted to deal with the vast demand as they surely expected, then I feel a different result would have been announced.
Every week Ryhdian proved himself by delivering a fantastic performance, he in my opinion was robbed of the title
me and my friend had a sleepover while watching the x factor after rhydians first song we tried to get through all the way until the end me and my friend decided to try leons line it was completly free how did that happen after the lines were closed we had only got through once and we had tried about 60 times including my mum dad brother and sister all trying on different phones and mobiles so unfair if it hadnt been for this insident rhydian would have already won he is the best not leon
I tried many times to vote for Leon but the lines were engaged
both me and my husband tried to vote for rhydian but couldnt get through it was all fixed as i tried leons line and it was ok so wot went on then?
Why try the other persons line you are giving them a vote then, if everyone who could not get through to Rhydians line tried Leons line then they helped him win.
