OFCOM may investigate X Factor ‘fix’ claims
TV regulator Ofcom is considering launching an investigation into the X Factor, after fans alleged that the show is ‘fixed’.
Despite criticising John and Edward Grimes for weeks, Simon last night opted to save them and effectively eject singer Lucie Jones.
Ofcom confirmed today it had received “more than 50″ complaints since the show aired, less than 24 hours ago. We can expect more details on the complaints this Wednesday and should know soon if OFCOM will investigate the matter formally.
A spokesman said: “There are a number of complaints which we are looking into.
“The number of complaints and the issues raised will be taken into consideration before we decide whether there needs to be a full investigation.”

absolutely love john and edward! and no I dont fall in the category of 2-10 yrs old….they are entertaining Lucie was not! thats what i want to watch x factor in the weekend after a week of hardwork! i started watching x factor after 3 years because of them!

the arguement of the x factor being fixed comes up every year, byt this year simon has gone to far. simon knew fine well that lucie was going out because the public vote doesnt count simon probably has the whole show planned out already. he knows who will be goin out next week and he knows who the winner will be. This show is a clear fix, there is no way the public would have voted of one of the best talents to come onto the x factor over them horrors. Ofcom time to stand up to the mark and prove that the x factor once and for all is a fix.

Anyone with any sense would understand that the twins have a huge following, mainly with the younger audience, I witnessed my niece and nephew standing stock still till their song was finished last week. Bob the Builder, Mr Blobby… ring any bells. The audience voted and Lucie did not get enough votes. No need for Ofcom to investigate, they just need to pick up all the mags to see how much publicity the boys are getting. I vote every week, so far I am lucky to see the act I want to win is still in it. This show is about the xfactor not just a singing contest, stop ranting and just vote who you want to stay in, chances are with your support they might!

what a lot of crap, I loved simon but totally gone down in my estimation I wont be watching this show in the future, I always looked forward to the show as I love to see the out come. the twins would be great on childrens tv
To be honest, I saw Lucie’s exit coming a mile off when i saw her and the twins were up against each other in the sing off, the deadlock decision just comfirmed it! Its the classic Week 5 conspiracy theory – a big act gets voted off to cause controversy! Laura Wright got voted off in week 5 last year, and im sure everyone can remember the uproar regarding that lol.
The twins wont win it – they’ll probs go within the next two weeks or so, when simon’s made enough cash out of them.
