Ohhh check out the X Factor 2011 final 16 after their big makeovers! (Pictures)
The X Factor final 16 have had their makeovers already and although one or two do look a little bit strange, we have to say, we think this has been the most successful makeover session the show has enjoyed to date.
Kelly Rowland revealed that she’d like to see Amelia Lily with less makeup and sporting a more natural look and that’s exactly what the team have went for it seems in the shot above.
The 16 year old singer is naturally pretty and we feel the team have made the most of her looks, without making her look much older than she actually is. However, she does look a little too much like Peaches Geldof for our liking.
Rowland also claimed that she didn’t want to mess too much with Janet Devlin’s style, as she liked the quirky nature of the Northern Irish singer.
However, does it look to you like the team may have dyed her hair red in the shot above? Maybe they’re trying to turn her into the stereotypical Irish colleen but whatever, we love the pussycat bow blouse and natural makeup she’s modelling.
We love Misha’s dramatic look and think this is something she may have pushed for herself…..did you see that black dress and blue shoes at judges houses?
However it’s Sophie Habibis who appears most changed out of the girls category. We would hardly recognise her from the picture above and we are totally loving the fact that she’s ditched the mousy brown unbrushed hair….though we’re not sure she intended to turn out looking like Cher Lloyd!
Marcus is cool but camp in his shot but the jacket does look slightly too much 80′s inspired for us.
Biscuit factory Craig Colton is rocking the chubby Justin Bieber look…..it suits him!
Frankie Cocozza looks exactly the same and hair stylist Jamie disappointed the nation today, when he confirmed that he has no intention of shearing off the teenagers unkempt locks.
We much prefer James Michael’s quiff to his pretentious looking hat, but still, he does look like a reject from Flock Of Seagulls!
Johnny still looks like Timmy Mallet, only this time without the glasses!
Sami Brookes looks pretty as always, though the fascinator appears to be the only thing different about her in this picture.
Kitty Brucknell looks well, but a little bit evil and snarly in this picture. Staged much?
We’d never seen it before, but Jonjo Kerr is actually quite a stud. After seeing his new bad boy look here, we’re now kind of glad that he won Terry Winstanley’s place in the live shows!
The stylists were obviously loving the primary colours when they styled Nu Vibe and they’re like a rainbow coloured urban supergroup.The fluffy looking jumper worn by the one in the middle is a little ridiculous though. Our grandpa wouldn’t even been seen dead in that!
Rhythmix are all very young and edgy, but look like girls in their mid twenties in this picture and that one in the pink needs to smile a little….the surly look really does her no justice at all.
The makeup team must have got the paint stripper out for 2 Shoes, as the girls have gone all natural in their makeover picture. Gone are the orange tan and the crazy dark eye makeup and we think we prefer this new subtle them. The dresses are gorg and very flattering too!
We’re not sure what to make of those coloured trousers but all in all, The Risk are a pretty hunky crew. we wonder if Marlon McKenzie is crying into his cornflakes after seeing this?

why didnt they keep janet’s hair more or less as it was, this doesnt do anything for her at all. loving the more natural look for 2 shoes

3 words: SACK. THE. STYLIST! Most of them look ridiculous.Especially Nu vibe with those pink and yellow outfits. EWWWW!!!

On the video thay talk about a “Big Twist”… when they said this last year it was the wild card! Do you think there will be a wild card this season!? The thing is that if it would be a wild card I don’t think it would be one per cathegory… it would be 20 acts… a bit too much! If that’s the case I really really hope Jade is going Through… so I hope it for Joe Cox!
mmmm….i dont think that the make over really did any of them any good except for the two girls who have given the poor animals who get animal tested just for them to look cheap. And why or why is Kitty in, i smell another Cher LLoyd replica, but then again that being said, it means she might just end up on our charts anyway. Totally digging the groups…i think they might have shot at winning this.
I think Janet Devlin looks like Meryl Streep , I liked her young look so much more.
They have made Sami Brookes look like she is Auditioning for Les Misérables, Mind you she would be very good in the show.

Jesus Christ WHAT have they done? Overall – what a MESS. I am still sulking massively over James Michael. How they could commit such sacrilege on his hair will forever be a sin. The guy was fine just as he was. Marcus Collins in a tinfoil silver jacket? – WTF? He’s one of the best vocalists there and they turn him into a ruddy turkey? The only ones I like/are improved are Charlie Heatley (The Risk) and Jonjo. The girls have had the worst deal out of this style detritus.
THEY HAVE RUINED JANET DEVLIN!! she looked better when she had more of an innocent look, janet is way cuter with blonde curly hair. and her make-up looks really dodgy and sorta like she has got no eye lashes!amelia lily also looks really weird too. and james michael’s hair has been made to look really stupid!! i preferred rythmix’s old look because thet need to look more urban rather ‘edgy’!! The stylist who did this all are really bad at their job, all the contestants either look completly stupid or exactly the same but i am really glad they didn’t mess with frankie’s look though!!

I love Amelia lily!! I’ve been backing her since boot camp. The groups aren’t up to much this year. HATE frankie cocozza. When Gary said he didn’t have the best voice but he put him through anyway I was so pissed off. He’s only there cuz he’s a little bitch that’s backed by idiotic teenage girls. and wish people would stop hating on kitty. She’s got a better voice than frankie!! I love her weird quirkiness. I can’t wait for ‘the voice UK’ to start. People will actually be judged on talent rather than if stupid people will get obsessed enough to blindly buy their music!!!!!! (e.g. Teenage girls with one direction last year, their vocals SUCK!)

The make-up is horrific. Sack the makeup artist now! It is suppose to make people prettier not make them look like bad bad bad drag queens. Sad:(
