James Arthur really is quite the ladies man.

He spent the whole X Factor series flirting with Caroline Flack, admitted that he was ‘in love’ with Nicole Scherzinger but would happily date Tulisa and now he seems to have caught the attention of another famous music star.

It’s been reported that the 23 year old hit it off with Rita Ora at the X Factor final and even managed to get her phone number before leaving the studio.

James may have been pictured taking three women back to his hotel room a few weeks ago but none of them led to a serious relationship and it seems he’s hoping that he and the RIP hitmaker can take things to the next level.

“He was quite taken with Rita after Saturday’s show,” a source told Now.

“They were getting very chatty backsage and exchanged numbers. He seemed interested in getting to know her better.”

Let’s hope that Rob Kardashian doesn’t get wind of the romance or he’ll launch into anther Twitter rant and we really would rather avoid that!

James has had a big week all round and as we reported a few days ago, has scored the fastest selling X Factor single ever with his tune ‘Impossible.’ He’s sold over 250,000 copies to date and yesterday he did his first ever singing when his cd version was released.

He seemed to enjoy the event and tweeted:

“Thank you to everyone who came to HMV today! Had a good time x”
