One Direction 2012: 1D to release ‘uptempo killer’ Live While We’re Young – Alan Carr’s Chattyman date confirmed! Whoop!
We have learned a few more details about One Direction’s brand new single this afternoon!
The X Factor stars will be releasing the track later this month and while details of it have been thin on the ground to date, after Sony Music UK played it to journalists at a music showcase in London last night, a few teasers have come to the fore.
The song has been described by some who had their first listen yesterday as an ‘uptempo killer’, which is bound to please the hundreds of thousands of Directioners who have already preordered it.
The song will be the lead single from One Direction’s second album ‘Take Me Home’ and will be released on the 30th September. It will have it’s radio premiere next week, and the album will follow at the end of November.
Chart TV have said that it is the perfect follow up to 1D’s first single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and described it as an “uptempo killer track.” We can’t wait to hear it now!
The journos also got a sneak peek at the video too and described it as hugely fun adding:
‘Vid has a camping theme! Boys in big water balls!”’
We saw some pictures from the shoot recently and it is the 1D equivalent to a wet t shirt competition. Harry’s abs look great!
With the single being released at the end of the month, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn performed it on Alan Carr’s Chattyman. It has been confirmed today that the boyband will not be appearing on the show this Friday night, but will be on the lineup on Friday 28th September, 10pm on Channel 4.
The hunky singers will return to the chat show and appear alongside The Voice coach Jessie J and award winning singer Alicia Keys in Alan’s ninth series. Check out a video of them appearing on the same show last year.
