Organisers of a British music festival are masterminding a plan to keep One Direction away from their fans later this month.

The X Factor stars are booked to perform at Party In The Park in Leeds on July 22nd, however they are well known for their legions of screaming fans and over enthusiastic supporters and bosses would rather not have a huge security nightmare on their hands.

In a bid to manage the hysteria and keep the boys safe from crowds of adoring teenage girls, insiders claim organisers have decided to dress Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne as huge cuddly teddybears.

It seems a strange choice of disguise to us, as it’s not exactly low key , but sources say the lads will all be dressed as furry pals and also arrive at the venue in an ordinary car instead of their usual limo or tour bus.

A source close to organisers Radio Aire added: “They want each member of One Direction to ­arrive separately in animal-themed disguises.

“They also want them in a ­normal car to prevent them getting mobbed. Instead of arriving in the all-singing, all-dancing tour bus or limousine, they will be bundled into an every-day vehicle while wearing costumes to fool people.”

Scenes of hysteria are nothing new to the 1D boys, but that’s not to say that they don’t still scare them a bit. Niall Horan recently confessed that he feels claustrophobic and overwhelmed when the fans rush them and Liam Payne begged the crowds to stay safe last week and calm down.

He wrote:

Hey hope nobody got hurt we would love to come say hi but because it gets crazy like that we don’t want you to get hurt xxx

If you guys promise to stay calm and stay back and let us come to you maybe tomorrow we can say hello would be nice
