One Direction 2012: Caroline Flack’s – justifiable – fury over voodoo doll cut-out in 1D mag!
Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack has lashed out at the editors of a One Direction fan magazine for printing a cut-out picture of herself which was labeled as a “voodoo doll” complete with instructions as to where to stick pins!
Caroline of course formerly dated 1D heartthrob Harry Styles, and has endured months of vile insults ever since from jealous fans, however of the magazine’s stunt, she took to Twitter to blast it, saying, “I’m very aware about the voodoo doll article in a certain magazine and have been for some time.
“It was one of the most hurtful things ive…. ever read. But thankyou for all the nice supportive messages!
“I dont take notice of nasty things written to encourage bullying…
“I’ve never had so many nice messages in one afternoon!!! Me and my crows feet are thankful. X
“Oh and my neice Willow could write a more intelligent article..and shes seven…rant over…
“I got some serious blonde hair to sort out..eek.” (sic)
The magazine’s article refers to Caroline as “grandma Caroline” and adds that she “looks like a goat”.
The Daily Mail adds, “In a note to the ‘voodoo doodoo’ picture of Caroline the magazine adds: ‘Zero engagement rings because no one wants to be with her.’”
Jeff Ashworth, the editor of the magazine, which is published by ToPix Media Lab, was unavailable for comment when contacted by Mail Online.
Topix Media Lab’s mission statement reads, “Focusing on the hottest topics in entertainment and popular culture, Topix Media Lab creates clever high-quality, special-interest publications that appeal to fanatical fan bases.”
Of the spiteful piece, a spokesperson for Caroline said, “This is sad and indicative of what Caroline has had to put up with.
“She has had some great support on Twitter though from her followers.”
This really is a shocking story and in effect, it seems to me that the magazine is condoning the negativity that’s been hurled at Caroline, and why? What was her crime?
Dating someone. That’s it.
This is a truly repellent attempt to increase circulation figures.

she’s too aged to date harry styles…..imagine that… ………she would look like harry’s mom……. or elder sister…..
but…….it is not right to call her a goat because of her hairstyle…people should avoid bullying her….because we might hurt her feeling…everyone know how it feels …of being bullied ………

I agree that she’s too old for Harry but come on what is that?! That’s the cruelest thing I have ever seen…it’s just never over for her and I honestly feel bad for her. :/ That crossed a line I think. Stay strong Caroline! Xx
