When we heard it we were surprised we have to admit, as today the Daily star reported that David Walliams doesn’t want One Direction star Harry Styles living near him.

According to their sources David was dreading the idea of One Direction fans invading his street if Harry Styles ends up moving in near him in Primrose Hill, London, after the teen superstar was spotted house hunting in the area this week.

The actor, comedian and writer, according to the unknown source “found out Harry was looking in the area, but he doesn’t like the idea of hundreds of teenage girls camping out in the neighbourhood. He guards his privacy and is focused on a new book he is writing, so he’d prefer not to have any distractions.”

Fans were shocked, as were we, after all wasn’t David a Directioner himself? He always talked about the band and said he loved Harry.

Turns out the newspaper was speaking out of turn – what a shock! – as David turned to his Twitter to say he didn’t even know Harry had any plans to move anywhere.
He tweeted:

“I had absolutely no idea. So I think the Daily Star may be making up stories again.”

Phew, now that’s that sorted.
