What have you Directioners done to poor Louis Tomlinson?

The One Direction singer has admitted that he is having problems with his hearing, and explained that doctors think it’s because his fans and supporters are so loud!

Everywhere the X Factor band goes, they are tailed by crowds and hoards of screaming girls and yelling teenagers and it seems all that volume is taking effect. We had already heard that the group’s management started insisting that they wear earplugs while on stage, to combat the high level of noise coming from the music and fans but it seems it may be a case of too little, too late.

Tomlinson was plagued by three days of headaches last week, after he performed at Radio City Live in Liverpool and Party In The Park in Leeds. Before taking to the stage in Echo Arena he said:

“I am going slightly deaf in my right ear. It’s tinnitus… something like that. All our fans are always very loud, especially Scousers.”

A source close to the teen idols said:

“They are only young and still developing, so management insist they wear hi-tech earpieces and filters to reduce the volume of the screaming and the music. When Louis made his comments he had really bad earache. Thankfully, this has now cleared up but he knows to be careful in future.”

So girls, we think it would be nice if you started to talk quietly around Louis the next time you turn out to see the boys. Otherwise he’s not going to be able to hear Eleanor Calder whisper sweet nothings in his ear!
