Harry Styles recently denied rumours that he had a girlfriend and insisted that he wasn’t seeing Emily Atack and it seems her was telling the truth.

Insiders have insisted that while the pair did date for a short period of time, things never got serious between them and they haven’t been in touch with one another for at least two months.

It was reported a few weeks ago that the One Direction singer was starting to get serious about the Hollyoaks actress, but nothing could apparently be further from the truth.

Harry claimed that he has ‘never kissed’ the blonde beauty, however sources close to the teen sensation insist that he did but not much more than that.

Their short lived fling reportedly started when Emily, 22, took to Twitter to reveal that she fancied the 1D star.

Styles then supposedly made contact via the micro blogging site and flirted with the former Dancing On Ice contestant, but their romance was short-lived.

‘It was very much Harry doing the chasing,’ a pal told Now.

‘Emily wasn’t like any girl he’s ever met because she’s so feisty.

‘She wasn’t starstruck by him. But it was never going to go the distance,’ they added

Another source continued:

‘Harry did like Emily but he’s young and isn’t dating anyone now.

‘He’s very much still single.’

In an interview on American TV this week, Harry insisted once more that he is single and ready to mingle on a US TV show.

One Direction are currently touring America and Canada and on The Today Show, when asked which of the band have girlfriends, only Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne stepped forward.

Liam is dating dancer Danielle Peazer, Louis has been seeing model Eleanor Calder for almost a year and Zayn is in the throes of a new relationship with Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.
